Dielectric Corporation receives innovation award
from GE Healthcare

Milwaukee, WI – May 18, 2010 – Milwaukee-based Dielectric Corporation was recently honored by GE Healthcare with the 2010 Appreciation Award for Outstanding Performance and Dedication in the Area of Innovation. The award was presented at the GE Healthcare Supplier Day on April 27th at the Sheraton Hotel in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Dielectric Corporation was the only US supplier to win one of seven awards presented at the event which was attended by more than 450 people representing over 250 global suppliers. The award recognized the innovative, collaborative approach that Dielectric has taken over the years to deliver cost-saving solutions for GE Healthcare needs.

According to John Harold, global sourcing leader for plastics, GE Healthcare, “Dielectric has been hearing GE talk about driving toward collaborative relationships…. Dielectric’s response was ‘We believe in the collaborative approach and are willing to work together toward improvements.’ Through these efforts GE benefited with cost savings….”

This is the third time that Dielectric has been honored at this annual event. In 1999, Dielectric won the Six Sigma Leadership Award and in 1991, it received GE Healthcare’s Supplier Excellence Award.
